GLASS. Roman, with reworking in Iranian Plateau workshops . 3rd-4th centuries AD. (2.2 cm tall x 2.4 cm square). E-Sale 618A small, squat jar with a short neck with a straight lip. The body is squared with 4 clearly defined sides with corners and edges rounded. Heavier gather and rim work consistent with reblowing and rework in a local workshop. The surface is weathered and show iridescence and accretions. Intense iridescent patina. Intact. A very pretty little piece.
