Laureate and draped bust right, seen from behind / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; star between legs. Prieur & Amandry –; McAlee, Severan –; RPC V.3 Online 87376 corr. (bust draped only; this coin cited); Prieur –. Toned. In NGC encapsulation 8560324-318, graded Ch XF, Strike: 5/5, Surface: 4/5, Fine Style. Extremely rare, Prieur did not own this piece when he published his book. Only this example in RPC (there incorrectly described as cuirassed).
