This coin commemorates the establishment of the new cult to Fortuna Redux and the dedication of the altar to the goddess by Senate in 19 BC to celebrate the safe return of Augustus from the East. She was given her own holiday to be celebrated on 12 October, which was named Augustalia after Augustus’ death.
