Laureate head right / City gate with three towers; within; statue of Tyche seated left, wearing kalathos, holding grain ears in right hand, cornucopia in left; at feet right and behind, prow. RPC V.3 Online 74813; SNG BN 490; SNG Levante 259. Dark brown patina, slight roughness. Near EF. A pretty coin in hand.

Isaura was the chief city of the region of Isauria, which became part of the province of Cilicia in Severan times. Isaura gained the honorific of Metropolis at some point in this period, and all its Severan coinage has this title.
