Celticized laureate head of Zeus right / Celticized horseman right; to upper left, bird perched right on branch. OTA 340/2 var. (wreath orientation); Lanz 675 var. (same); KMW 1267-70 var. (same); CCCBM I –. Toned, scratch. Near EF. Very rare.

Though stylistically closer to the ‘Verkehrter Lorbeerkranz’ (inverted wreath) group, this unusual variety features a head of Zeus wearing a wreath with the normal, upright orientation.
