THRACE, Byzantion. Circa 260-245 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28.5mm, 16.90 g, 12h). In the name and types of Lysimachos. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; two monograms to inner left. Marinescu Issue 36, 87 (O35/R83); Müller –; HGC 3, 1374. Lightly toned, polished surfaces, test cuts on edge, slight doubling on reverse. VF. Rare.
