Justinian I. 527-565. Æ Decanummium (17mm, 2.94 g). Perugia(?) mint. Dated RY 26 (552/3 AD). Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Large I; cross above, date across field, P in exergue. DOC I 357.1; MIBE 101a (uncertain Italian mint); SB 328. VF, smooth green patina.
The attribution to Perugia remains conjectural. Hahn attributes it to an uncertain Italian mint (MIB I 101a), active during Justinian's reconquest.
