KINGS of SKYTHIA. Uncertain. Circa 2nd-1st Century BC. Æ 23mm (5.44 g). Jugate heads of the Dioskouri right, wearing wreathed caps; c/m: veiled head of Persephone(?) right / ...POCEI (?), horse standing right, man standing before holding reins(?). SNG BM Black Sea -; SNG Stancomb -; SNG Copenhagen -. Near VF, black patina. Although this coin appears to be of the same series and period as those of Akrosander, the remnant of the king's name does not resolve into that of any of the known Scythian kings, and the reverse type is completely unknown.

From the Garth R. Drewry Collection; Ex Classical Numismatic Group XXV (24 March 1993), lot 197.
