SICILY, Kentoripai. Circa 344-336 BC. Æ Drachm (33mm, 30.75 g). Wreathed head of Persephone left, wearing single-pendant earring; four dolphins around / Panther crouching left with right paw raised. CNS III p. 168, I/35; SNG ANS 1305-6. Fine, rough green surfaces. Overstruck on a Syracuse drachm of the Athena / Octopus type. Rare.
The obverse clearly copies the Euainetos dekadrachms of Syracuse.
