Michael VII, Ducas. 1071-1078. AV Histamenon Nomisma (4.39 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Facing bust of Christ, raising hand in benediction and holding Gospels; nimbus with five pellets in cross arms / Crowned facing bust, wearing short beard and loros, holding labarum with X on shaft and globus cruciger; crown with pendilia. Cf. DOC III 2e (same rev. die); SB 1868. Good VF, toned, slight shift strike on obverse.
