KINGS of MACEDON. Philip V. 221-179 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.84 g, 12h). Pella or Amphipolis mint; Ar-, magistrate. Struck circa 188/7-184 BC. Helmeted head of Philip as the hero Perseus left, harpa over shoulder, in the center of a Macedonian shield / Club; AP monogram above, two monograms below; all within oak-wreath; plow to outer left. Mamroth, Philip 2 var. (harpa not plow); cf. SNG München 1126; cf. SNG Alpha Bank 1052. Good VF, attractively toned, a few light marks in fields.
