CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 500-490 BC. AR Nomos (8.02 g, 8h). Taras riding dolphin right, holding cuttle-fish, left hand extended / Hippocamp left; cockle shell below. Fischer-Bossert 31 (V13/R24); Vlasto 115; HN Italy 827. Good VF, lightly toned, a little flat on high point of obverse.
