VRBS ROMA, helmeted, draped, and cuirassed bust of Roma right; behind, silver inlay in the form of a palm branch / COLONIA DEDVCTA, S C in exergue, colony founder plowing right with team of oxen. Cf. Alföldi, Kontorniat, 70/493 (obv. [without inlay]/rev. type); Sachero 10 (this coin); Tocci -. VF, brown patina with patches of green and red, minor roughness, weak strike on reverse. Unique variety, this type combination unrecorded by Alföldi. ($1500)
