[Antiquities] ARMENIAN. Silver belt plate. 12th-13th century AD. Length 60mm. Flat base silver plate with loops for attachment on back. The face of the plate engraved engraved with a female-headed bird perched on a flower. She wears an Armenian trilobe crown, with a rudimentary tamgha on her breast. Dramatic and bold engraving style, well preserved. Slightly granular surfaces to the metal. Excellent condition. ($200)
