Legend with poetical couplet; parasol mint mark and AH date / Legend with mint; regnal year below. KM 781; cf. Wright 2500; cf. Hull 2342. EF, lustrous. Rare as a regular mohur with fully legible date. ($2000)

The next to last Mughal emperor, Muhammad Akbar II, was a virtual nonentity, reigning as a figurehead, with the British East India Company being the real master of India. His coinage was issued in token quantities and is all rare.
