This issue, originally attributed to Hampsikoras' revolt against Rome in 216 BC, belongs to the period of the Libyan Revolt (see P. Visona, "Carthaginian Bronze Coinage in Sardinia" in Numismatique et histoire économique phéniciennes et puniques [Studia Phoenicia IX], Lovain-la-Neuve, 1992, pp. 126-7).
