KINGS of PARTHIA. Orodes III. Circa 6 AD. AR Tetradrachm (12.90 gm, 12h). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Dated Embolimou 317 SE (intercalary month, 6 AD). Diademed bust left / Orodes seated left, holding bow and sceptre; ZIT (year) to right, EM (month) to left. Sellwood 59.2; Shore 327. Fine, flan flaw, light graffiti, and a couple spots of encrustation on obverse. Very rare. ($1000)
