India, Princely States. Jaipur. Man Singh II. 1922-1970. Matched sets of silver and bronze presentation medals. Diameter 39mm. Bust of the maharaja right, wearing bejeweled turban. Blank reverse for engraving, except for the silver piece being stamped "SILVER" at bottom. Silver is proof-like, bronze with black patination. Similar to a 1947 silver jubilee medal (McClenaghan 163) but with a younger portrait. Both pieces Unc and rare. Two (2) pieces in lot.
