THRACE, Ainos. Circa 359-356 BC. AR Tetradrachm (23mm, 15.10 gm). Facing head of Hermes, turned slightly left, wearing petasos with studded rim / Goat standing right; tripod before. Cf. May, Ainos pl. vii, C.6 (same dies); BMC Thrace pg. 79, 19; SNG Copenhagen 411 (same dies). VF, toned, numerous old cleaning scratches and pits, some light smoothing.
