KERO HQEI, IC XC across field, Christ, nimbate, seated facing on straight-backed throne, raising hand in benediction, holding Gospels / IW DEC PO TH, standing facing figures of John, wearing crown and loros, holding globus cruciger, and the nimbate Virgin Mary, who crowns John; QU between their heads, MHP to right. DOC IV 7a; SB 1949. Superb EF, tiny flat spot on Virgin's nose. ($500)
