Frontispiece with portait of author, engraved titlepage, 511 pages, with most of the pages consisting of engraved representations of hundreds of US and world coins of the 19th century, and about 40 pages in the back on ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Jewish coins. The forerunner of the Krause-Mishler catalogue. Black half leather, speckled fore-edges. Fair condition, covers detached, spine torn, interior pretty clean. ($50)
