SICILY, Nakone. Circa 400 BC. Æ Onkia (2.50 gm). Head of nymph right, wearing necklace, hair bound with fillet wrapped around two times / Goat standing right; pellet above, ivy-leaf before. Calciati I pg. 325, 2; SNG ANS -; SNG Morcom -. Good VF, glossy black patina, very minor smoothing. This specimen is significantly better than any of the specimens illustrated in Calciati. Rare. ($150)
