Crowned bust left resembling Khosrau II; marginal legend, countermark: Sogdian legend with tamgha / Fire altar flanked by attendants; date to left, mint to right. Göbl, Hunnen -; SIC Ashmolean -; MACW -. Good VF. ($200)

The mint name may be a crude rendering of the NY mintmark. Perhaps a Hephthalite imitation of an Arab imitation of a Sasanian drachm?
