GALLIENUS. 253-268 AD. Antoninianus (3.85 gm). Siscia mint. Struck circa 264-266 AD. GALLIENVS AVG, radiate and cuirassed bust right / SISCI-A AVG, Siscia seated left, arms open, on the bank of the river Savus, river nymph swimming left in river below. RIC V 582; MIR 36, 1416ff; RSC 976. Good VF, dark brown patina with a trace of silvering, slight bend in flan. One of the rarest Gallienus reverse types. ($750)
