Wonderful Equestrian Portrait Crown
TUDOR. Edward VI. 1547-1553. AR Crown (42mm, 31.04 g, 8h). Third period; Fine silver issue. London (Tower) mint; im: У. Dated 1551. Edward, armored and holding sword, on caparisoned horse right / Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchée. North 1933; SCBC 2478. Toned, a couple of minute edge splits. VF. Well struck with a pleasing portrait of the king.
