Seltman, C. Athens, its History and Coinage before the Persian Invasion. (Cambridge, 1924). 4to. 228 pages; 24 superb collatype plates, further illustrations and line drawings in the text. Original green cloth and linen backed boards, gilt lettered label to the spine, the upper board gilt stamped with the standing figure of Athena. From the libraries of Wayte Raymond with his distinctive ex-libris on the front pastedown, and Joel L Malter with his embossed ex-libris on the first free endpaper. Fine condition, rubbed and worn at extremities, edges bumped with some damage to the spine, mostly affecting the label, the binding shaken and the inner hinges weak, internally browned as usual but clean.
