GALLIENVS AVG, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust left / VIC GALL AVG III, Victory walking left, holding wreath and palm; T in left field. MIR 36, 360n; RIC V –; Cunetio –; Normanby –; Chalfont –. EF, struck on a broad flan. A bold and impressive portrait. Extremely rare, only one noted by MIR (Alföldi, Studien, pl. 13, 12).
