CORINTHIA, Corinth. Circa 400-375 BC. AR Stater (20.5mm, 8.44 g, 12h). Pegasos standing right, wearing bridle with rein hanging / Helmeted head of Athena left; seven dolphins around. Ravel – (P342/T471 [unlisted die combination]); Pegasi 273–4 var. (fewer dolphins; same obv. die as illustrations); BCD Corinth 84 var. (Pegasos flying left; same rev. die); HGC 4, 1840. VF, toned, some roughness, spots of find patina. Well centered. Very rare.
