Includes: An interesting assortment of medals ranging in size from 47 to 68mm, marked dates from the early 1800s to 1952, including an Æ medal dated 1919 marking the Peace of Versailles; another cast-iron medal dated 1936 celebrating the 550th anniversary of the foundation of the University of Heidelberg (in original case); a commemorative medal for the victims of the Holocaust; a large medal portraying an unnamed soldier (in original case); and medals in honor Goethe, David Teniers, and Joan Galeatius Vicecom (architect of the Milan Cathedral).
