EΛDGAR RE+, small cross pattée / ÐVR MON in two lines; three crosses pattée between, trefoil above and below. CTCE –; SCBI –; cf. North 741 (for type); cf. SCBC 1129 (for type). VF, toned, light old scratch under tone. Extremely rare, no HT 1 coins previously published for this moneyer, but this moneyer is known for HR 1 and HR 2 coins struck at Chester, which are all of the same engraving style.
