SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Laodicea ad Mare. Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 13.68 g, 12h). Dated year 172 of the Caesarean Era (AD 125/6). AYTOKP KAICAP TPAIA[NOC] AΔPIANOC CЄBACT, laureate and cuirassed bust of Hadrian right, with gorgoneion on breastplate / IOYΛIЄωN TωN KAI ΛAOΔIKЄωN, turreted and draped bust of Tyche right, with grape bunches in hair; BOP (date) below chin. Prieur 1111 (this coin illustrated); RPC III 3805.3 (this coin). VF, toned, very minor lamination flaws on obverse, some scratches on reverse. Very rare, 1 of only 7 cited by RPC.
