THESSALY, Trikka. Circa 440-400 BC. AR Hemidrachm (16.5mm, 2.76 g, 11h). Thessalos, petasos and cloak tied at neck, holding band around head of forepart of bull right / ΤΡΙΚ-Κ-K-ΑIΟΝ (
sic; retrograde), forepart of bridled horse right within incuse square. BCD Thessaly II 776.1–2 var. (arrangement of ethnic); HGC 4, 311. Fine, toned, a couple marks on obverse. Fine style reverse, showing horse’s head in three-quarter perspective.
