D N VALE-NS AVG, pearl-diademed bust left, wearing consular robes, holding mappa and scepter / VOTA PV-BLICA, Valens and Valentinian I seated facing on double throne, each wearing consular robes and holding mappa and scepter; MED. RIC IX 3b; Ulrich-Bansa 9; Toffanin 435 (this coin illustrated); Depeyrot 4/2. Near EF, toned, minor edge marks. Very rare.
