SICILY, Syracuse. Time of Dionysios I. 405-367 BC. Æ Drachm (32.80 gm). Struck circa 395-367 BC. Head of Athena left, wearing Corinthian helmet decorated with an olive wreath / Sea-star between two dolphins. Calciati II pg. 111, 62; SNG ANS 454. Good VF, choice green patina, small hole (as made) on obverse, several breaks in the patina on the reverse. Unusually high grade for this issue. ($400)
