Nero. AD 54-68. Æ Sestertius (34mm, 25.11 g, 6h). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Struck circa AD 65. Laureate head right, [globe at point of neck] / Roma seated left on cuirass, right foot on helmet, holding Victory and parazonium; shields around and behind. RIC I 398; WCN 409; Lyon 69. VF, dark tan patina with a hint of red, fields lightly smoothed, some flan striations on the reverse. An attractive color, often associated with the “Tiber” patina.
