Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet with raised cheek guards and spiral ornament at base of the bowl; tiny TH behind neck guard, tiny IΠ behind hair / Thessalian cavalryman, wearing petasos, chlamys, and chiton, holding lagobolon over shoulder with right hand, on horse prancing right; Φ-A-P-Σ clockwise around from upper left (the P and Σ retrograde), tiny T[H] below; all within incuse square. Lavva 97 (V48/R53); Rogers –; BCD Thessaly II 638; HGC 4, 624. VF, toned, porous.
