Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, forepart of lion left above monogram; below throne, head right, wearing Phrygian cap. Thompson 64-5 var. (monogram); Müller –; Price 1582 var. (monogram); HGC 3, 1751c; ANS 1952.123.229 (same obv. die); SNG Saroglos 726 (same dies). VF, toned. Rare variety.

This variety was apparently missed by Price, as both examples were known by at least the 1950s.
