Constantine II. As Caesar, AD 316-337. Æ Follis (17mm, 2.79 g, 6h). Contemporary imitation. Uncertain mint, possibly in the Balkans. Struck circa AD 320-321 or later. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust left / Standard inscribed IOI/XI in two lines with captive seated on either side. Cf. Sergeev –; for prototype: cf. RIC VII 133 (Siscia mint). Good VF, dark brown surfaces with traces of silvering. Interesting contemporary imitation of the VIRTVS EXERCIT type.
