THRACE, Byzantion. Circa 110-100 BC. AV Stater (20mm, 8.22 g, 12h). In the name and types of Lysimachos. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monogram to inner left, BY below throne, ornate trident in exergue. Unpublished, but cf. Callataÿ pl. 38, J for same obverse die on issue with different control mark. Good VF, underlying luster, a couple light marks. Very rare, none in CoinArchives.
