ETRURIA, Populonia. Circa 425-400 BC. AR Didrachm of 10 Units (21mm, 8.29 g). Head of Metus facing, wearing diadem; below, dolphins flanking X (mark of value) / Blank. EC Series 7, 5 (O1 – this coin); HN Italy 117. VF, toned, struck with worn obverse die. Extremely rare, one of only five recorded for this series.
