ISLANDS off THRACE, Thasos. Circa 520/10-500 BC. AR Stater (17.5mm, 9.72 g). Satyr advancing right, carrying off protesting nymph / Quadripartite incuse square. Le Rider, Thasiennes 1; HGC 6, 331. Good VF, slight porosity, a little off center. Exceptional for issue. Very rare first issue from Thasos.
