DECAPOLIS, Dium. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ (28mm, 16.50 g, 12h). Dated CY 271 (AD 208/9). AY KA CЄ CЄO[YHP]OC, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / [...]ΝωN, bearded river-god reclining left on overturned amphora from which water flows, holding [large reed] in right hand, cornucopia in left; tree in left field, AOC (date) in exergue. Unpublished with this date and radiate bust, but for similar issues of Septimius from this mint see: Sofaer 8 (Adraa); CNG 99, lot 485; Triton XVIII, lot 901. VF, earthen green-brown patina.
