The Triumvirs. Octavian. Autumn 32-summer 31 BC. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.56 g, 4h). Uncertain Italian mint, possibly Rome. Bust of Venus right, wearing stephane and necklace / Octavian advancing left on ground line, extending right arm and holding spear in left hand; CAESAR DIVI • F. RIC I 251; CRI 397; RSC 70; BMCRE 609-10 = BMCRR Rome 4327-8; BN 1-4. Near EF, light iridescent toning, weak strike on highest point of obverse and corresponding side on obverse. Good metal.
