II –; FITA –; BMC –; SNG Copenhagen –; RG –. Near VF, brown patina, cleaning scratches, small area of verdigris on the reverse. Extremely rare.

The attribution to Sinope is based on a similar coin with Julius Caesar’s portrait on the obverse and a plow within a wreath on the reverse in Recueil Général (cf. pl. XXVI, 22). Also see RG pl. 27, 15 for a similar terminal statue obverse.
