PHOENICIA, Sidon. `Abd`aštart (Straton) I. Circa 365-352 BC. AR Dishekel (28mm, 24.98 g, 12h). Phoenician galley left; [uncertain (date) above], waves below / Persian king and driver in chariot drawn by two horses left; [AB in Phoenician above]; behind, attendant standing left. Cf. E&E-S Group IV.2.1.h-i; cf. HGC 10, 242; cf. DCA 849; all for general type. VF, some light cleaning scratches, struck from worn dies.
Normally, this coin would have a date in the field above the galley on the obverse. Unfortunately, between the weak strike and light cleaning, the date is not visibile.
