KINGS of PARTHIA. Mithradates II. 121-91 BC. AR Drachm (21mm, 4.15 g, 12h). Nisa(?) mint. Struck circa 109-96/5 BC. Diademed and draped bust left, wearing long beard, earring, and torque ending in sea-horse / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow. Sellwood 27.2; Sunrise –; Shore –; PDC 29056 (two examples recorded in database). Good VF, toned. Struck on a broad flan. Extremely rare with the combined use of both the three-bar sigma and the four-bar sigma in the legend.
