ARCADIA, Caphya. Geta. As Caesar, AD 198-209. Æ Assarion (21mm, 3.99 g, 5h). Struck circa AD 198-205. Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Artemis, with billowing veil, advancing left, holding torch and bow. Unpublished in the standard references. Fine, green patina under a layer of earthen deposits.

From the same obv. die as BCD Peloponnesos 1391 and SNG Copenhagen 216. The reverse is recorded in the standard references for Septimius (BCD Peloponnesos 1385), Domna (NCP p. 100), and Caracalla (BCD Peloponnesos 1392.6). In NCP, the figure is fancifully described as a “female figure, indistinct, running, a serpent arched over her head; holds in right, head of serpent.”
