Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla hurling a stone / Owl standing right, head facing; NEYMHNIOΣ to left, ΠOΛY and olive branch to right. Vlasto 1058–61; HN Italy 1015; SNG ANS 1312–3; SNG France 1942–6; SNG Lloyd –; Dewing –. Near EF, dark iridescent tone, underlying luster, a little die wear. Excellent metal for issue.
