D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Theodosius II, three-quarters facing and turned slightly to the right, with a cross on his breast, holding a spear over his right shoulder and, over his left, a shield ornamented with the emperor on horseback riding down an enemy. Rev. CONCORDIA AVGGG / COMOB Constantinopolis enthroned facing, her head turned right, placing her right foot on a prow and holding a scepter and Victory on globe. Depeyrot 45/3. LRC 298. RIC 41.
