M OPEL ANTONINVS DIADVMENIANVS CAES, bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / PRINC • IVVENTVTIS, S C in exergue, Diadumenian, in military dress, standing front, head right, holding aquila in right hand and scepter in left; to right, aquila and signum. RIC IV 211; Szaivert series 9-10; Clay Issue 2; Banti 3; BMCRE 149 (Macrinus). VF, brown and dark gray surfaces, some green, brassy highlights on reverse, a few small pits, areas of minor roughness and smoothing. Rare.
